I am a specialist in multilingual/bilingual education, including language learning in schools (EAL/ELL) and mother tongue. I have been working in national and international schools as a consultant for EAL/ELL programming and professional development, Languages across the curriculum (LAC) and more recently on projects involving knowledge about language and linguistics in education (KAL), as well as integrating translanguaging into international school pedagogy. Currently I am also working as head of academic development for LanguageOne (Global Mother Tongue Education) building an framework for mother tongue curriculum in international contexts, as well as designing a bespoke, inclusive teacher development programme for mother tongue teachers in international schools.
